Alexander Rojas Benavides — Senior Mobile Developer

Alexander is one of our amazing Senior Xamarin Developers here at Gorilla Logic. He has been working in development for about 6 years now. When Alexander is off the clock his favorite hobby playing blues on guitar, watch nonsense videos, and trying to conquer the world. We are so happy to have him as a part of our Band!

 

Alexander Rojas BenavidesWhere is my hometown? – I grew up in Quesada, Costa Rica. It is a beautiful growing city located in San Carlos, Alajuela. It is a great place with huge technological growth. 

What’s your spirit animal?  – I would have to say every kind of feline. 

Favorite place you’ve traveled to? – Amsterdam, I really loved their culture. 

How do you spend your free time? – I like to spend my free time working on side projects or reading fantasy books! One of my favorite books is The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. 

What is your personal motto? – You won’t know until you try it so why not try. 

What made you want to work at Gorilla Logic? – Call me crazy,  but I love Mobile Development and Microsoft Technologies. That was the initial attraction to Gorilla Logic, their expertise, and their skills within the mobile world and Microsoft techs. Now I feel lucky to be a part of a company that really cares about its employees and the quality of work.

Who are the biggest cheerleaders in your life? – We meet hundreds of people, but our parents always be there. 

Best advice when heading into an interview? – Relax, just be you!
